![]() I felt like they could have possibly done a better job with the episode overall but I believe that it was more than likely ironically inspired by being on a time crunch. This is the recap page for The Amazing World of Gumball, the first full series commissioned by Cartoon Networks European Division.Created by Ben Bocquelet, the series centers on a blue cat named Gumball, his pet goldfish/adopted brother, Darwin, and their bizarre adventures in the town of Elmore, where everything is alive and everyone is a different art/animation style. I like how Gumball goes throughout his day and that he manages to get himself out of it by “reaching” out to others.ġ0 - I love the 4th-wall breaking of this episode. I’m only upset that the puppet world doesn’t start till halfway through the episode.ĩ - This episode is a nice, fun way of showcasing depression, something I’ve dealt with and still do from time to time. □Ĩ- I’m a fan of DHMIS (don’t look it up unless you enjoyed the creepy puppets) and they had a part in making this. Keeps you on edge till the very end where they show how everything happened, followed by the best joke of the episode - trying to time lapse away from an angry girlfriend. I love how traumatized Gumball and Darwin are at a board game that they created, the ideas they put into making the cards, and how it actually affects the whole family in their lives until they finish it.ħ - Love the concept behind this one. Her song is also very memorable for me and I love seeing Gumball and Darwin’s reaction to seeing it in the video tape.Ħ - Parody of the movie Jumanji which I loved. I’m mainly upset that it wasn’t topped with the show finale in season 6.ĥ - I love Sarah’s character and this episode showcases what she’s about. So much creativity and 4th wall breaking happens and it all feels pretty epic. I enjoy rpg’s so I laughed at just about every joke in this one.Ĥ - Favorite season finale by far. The only reason it’s not on top is because it tends to imply that Richard is not a good person.ģ - Favorite parody episode. ![]() or Google Playġ - This episode is so solid! The comedy is nonstop, the character development is short and quick but strong, it has a good moral message, it has 2 song numbers, it shows most of the characters in the show as well as how Gumball and Darwin tend to imagine their worlds, etc! If I wanted to introduce a friend to Gumball, this is the episode I’d choose.Ģ - Best climax of an episode I’ve seen.
